Hey, April 10th is my birthday and my present to myself is I'm starting a brand new webcomic!

It's a reboot of The Marvelous Land of Oz as a romantic comedy road trip YA graphic novel called Yellow Brick Ramble. The first 10 pages are already online, so check it out!

Yellow Brick Ramble will be my main focus at least till late 2025, but Pepsiaphobia isn't over and I'll continue to work on Gastrophobia remastered on Patreon.

Though you can read them as the same comic if you like, I consider Pepsiaphobia to be the sequel to Gastrophobia, which ended with season 3.

So, this episode was basically me tying up loose ends from my previous webcomic. 😉

In the panel 22 (the one with the shoujo manga bubbles), I did that thing I do where I take the time to hand-draw a "screen tone effect" but no can tell that I did. >:P

As an American, I'm used to seeing $ on money bags as cartoon shorthand, but these are drachma, so I was originally going to use ₯ for the money bags. Ultimately, I decided Δρ fits better with the Ancient Greek aesthetic.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't had a comic update for so long! I have been busy working on the comic, but it's been mostly invisible work.

As you may have noticed, I moved my website to a new hosting service and rebuilt it for ComicControl. That ended up taking 3 weeks. Just re-uploading all the comics in the archives took over a week, but I also redesigned the whole site to be more mobile-friendly and completely overhauled the archives page.

Also, while remastering the first three volumes, I ended up redrawing major parts of "Bored to Death". Over 3 pages worth of new art!

I plan to eventually make the remastered pages available on this website, but for now the only way to see them is on my Patreon.

Furthermore, I have a Society6 page now, so you can buy high-quality prints and bags of my illustrations (like the one above) online. You know, like you would at a convention if I was actually doing conventions right now! I have some cute Oz prints for sale too!

Pepsia thinks she has it bad, but Phobia's mom didn't even bother to name her.

Phobia went by "hey you" or the first 5 years of her life. The first time he saw her, Phobia's father thought she was the bravest child he'd ever seen and immediately named her after fear itself.

This is the last page of the first chapter of Gastrophobia volume 4 aka Pepsiaphobia volume 1.

I hope y’all noticed that when she said, “A Talking Snake!?!” I made sure to use exclamation points in the exact same way they’re used in the title of the cinematic masterpiece, “A Talking Cat!?!”

Yup. Just typical average teenage boy problems right here.

Gastro and Princess Starbutt aren’t dating, but they do have a “will neigh, won’t neigh” thing going on.

They’re eating an ancient Greek delicacy known as tagenites*.
*Translator’s note: tagenites are just pancakes.

It's literally been 5 years since I finished season 3 in 2015! Season 4 will have more focus on Gastro.
